This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.

"Whenever you browse your Google, it picks up the viruses and malware and we can remove them". Clueless. Refused to follow his instructions, so he threatened to "block my computer". Oh no. How will I ever post this?

Wanted to speak to the owner of the PC. After stringing him along for a while I told him to get lost as it was a scam. He hung up.
