someone from this number called me a few minutes ago, and asked to speak to Mr J *****. I asked who was calling, he said "Matthew" I asked "what do you want him for", he replied that "its personal" (AT NO POINT DID I CONFIRM OR DENY MY I.D.. I then asked "if its personal, What is Mr J ***** s First Name". But guess what, He didn t know, and thats when i had fun and he hung up. EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

I am so angry at these people. I am away on business and my phone is constantly ringing in meetings. I am out of the country and I think its urgent. Someone somewhere has to stop these people being like a bad smell that just does not go away. I have had 2 a day for the past week. They all should be stopped and closed down immediately.
