Put the phone down as soon as I answered. I presume yet another cold caller. Apparently based in Scotland, to the west of Glasgow.

This is an Amazon scam re Amazon Prime (which I do not have).
Long pause followed by an automated message - Hello I m calling from "Pearl Insurance Ltd" I believe you were involved in a car accident...... blah blah blah fake fake fake. Blocked!
Allegedly it is BT detecting suspicious activity on my phone and they will disconnect me. As I am not on BT so this is probably an attempt to get my bank details for fraudulent purposes.

Persistant pain in the butt. Uses different numbers when ones already used are blocked. No one says anything and no noise in the background. Extremely annoying.
