SCAM / SPAM CLAIMED TO BE FROM UK TAX OFFICE - CLEARLY SCAM - STAY AWAY
SCAM purports to be from HMRC regarding a fraud and to press 1 to go through to an officer. If you don’t,a warrant will be issued for your arrest ‘straight away’ apparently. Will await the knock on the door....
The overall rating for phone number 03333050466 is Neutral
Fraud Claiming to say that my National Insurance number has been compromised with a quite ropey sounding automated message, which surprise surprise it asks you to press 1 to speak to someone and no doubt hand over your details. Using different mobile numbers from EE so likely using burner phones etc.
11 Nov 2021 - Chris/Tom/Craig/Simon = Stuart David Wright. this number is registered at the address 21a plymouth road, barnt green, birmingham, b45 8jf under the name Stuart Wright at least we know where this scammer lives! no wonder it's a nice big house he lives in he keeps scamming people!Reply
Fraud - Automated call. Posing as Amazon, saying there's a payment leaving my account soon, it might be fraudulent so please call to confirm if I made this payment. AMAZON customer services confirm it is NOT their number and it is a scam/fraud. Do Not Call.
SCAM / SPAM Openreach scam - recorded message that the Internet connection will be cut off, push 1 for operator. Indian(?) 'technician' then tries to get you to install TeamViewer QuickSupport so they can presumably compromise devices. Managed to keep them on the phone for 15 minutes so they couldn't scam someone else!
