Told him I had done that already this morning and was quite happy with it but he was insisting I tried it on my computer or laptop. I was apparently overpaying for the speed i was getting and should be refunded.?!?!? hung up at that point, I couldn't be bothered listening anymore.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2033180xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with financial services, fake lottery wins, accident chasers - just some general call centre. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back.
This number should be a landline from London area - I haven't found any ratings for this number, does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. Who is it? Have a missed call from this number, don't want to call them back. Seems to be some call centre...

Was called at 10.15 am today. Indian man saying was from BT Internet ..... very pushy indeed. This man did have good english so don't be fooled, I knew it was a scam as I don't use that internet provider and they do the rounds using different numbers the number they called from was - 01545 845848. Beware they do use other numbers even if you do use that service provider don't be taken in by scammers . So annoying get rid of the landline and be scam free that option is looking good, or get a blocking service

Received a text saying attempts to set up DD to gumtree for £1200- It appeared to come from the 'normal' Barclays text account. Tried the number, and was held in a queue.. so I rang off. And phoned Barclays - they confirmed it was not their number. They also pointed me in the direction of "Barclays Number checker" website. This company keeps ringing for a debt that is statute barred and is now over 8 yrs old. I have told them I have no wish to speak to them and to stop ringing but they continue to ring on a daily bases. They are wasting their time as I will just put the phone down. These people are the lowest of the low.
