Fraud Text Came through from HSBC telling me a payment had been attempted from a new device and if it was not me follow the link. When I followed the link it wanted user names, pin codes etc, very convincing.......if only I had any HSBC accounts.!
SCAM / SPAM
Computerised voice saying HMRC had served an arrest warrent on me, and to save myself I needed to press 1 to talk to an adviser!
Can't think anyone would fall for it, but that's the second time today....very annoying
I think it's a scam call.
Voicemail said I purchased an I phone 12 for £398 and it will be debited from my Amazon prime account. If I wish to cancel order press 1 or call back to report fraud.
I don't have a Amazon account so I'm guessing if you call back it is a premium number.
Rude, obnoxious and an extremely unpleasant man I have just spoken to. You must be doing really bad if you can t afford to recruit customer focused telemarketeers rather than the scumbag I have just spoken to. Shocking!!!
Basically they are calling anyone to see if you have the ability to claim PPI.
PPI has been a hot topic over the last few years and firms are trying to cash in on those unfortunate enough to have paid for it.
I missed the call and rang the number back, A young man answered and wanted me to first confirm my post code and account number. (I didnt)
I asked him what company was calling me and he replied with the Reactiv Media (after a few misdirections).
I then searched the company on my computer,
Would it be better to ask the firm who alloted the numbers to these annoying companies to take them back, when told
that they have been used to harass people, and if they dont it would incur a heafty fine, problem solved !
