I had this number call me twice today and when i answered it ws just silent!!

Never call unknown numbers back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number that is hidden behind a spoofed UK number. Those calls can be VERY costly.
It is a voice machine that tell you you will be arrested if you don't press key 1. Didn't press and i haven't been arrested. Scam.

10 Nov 2021 - Said was Carphone Warehouse and wanted to offer iPhone 13 plus package. I Said had no dealings with. Arphone so where did she get my number from. Told me it came from a partner who was involved with the promotion. When I asked who the partner was, she declined to say. I told her I thought she was a scammer and hung up.Reply

Rang my mobile yesterday didnt leave a message ive tried ringing it back weired needs reporting
Fake recording suggesting illegal activity on credit card stating amounts from both in UK and abroad.
Said they were from Inland Revenue and I must call back immediately as the issue was time sensitive. Odd that this is the second time I ve had a similar scam call shortly ...
I have been called by this number regularly in the last 2 months. The person either puts the phone down without speaking after I have said "hello"...presumably they don t want to speak to a male. Or if they do speak, usually asking for a random name, I ask "who s speaking?" they put the phone down! Obviously a SCAM.
