Same number rang me today, said his name was Eric from credit investigation bureau. As with all the comments above asked about a debt I don?t have, them immediately hung up. Blatant scam. Surprised he doesn?t withhold his number, in fact I might ring him back and give him some abuse
I am from Sri Lanka and this number calls me often from UK. As it seems this number belongs to the City Inn Westminister Hotel, London, which is situated close to Buckingham Palace. This is why I m really curious who this person is.

Keeps ringing no one speaks cannot call back
Indian/ Asian sounding male Said they were HMRC Also said that I was being investigated for tax fraud and tax evasion and due to be arrested. I said I would presenting myself at my local police station. The call ended at that point!

Potential scam. When I answered a woman said “oh good” and ended the call. As I don’t know anyone in Birmingham I assume it’s a scam.

SICK OF THESE CALLS - I THOUGHT IT WAS NO LONGER LEGAL TO CALL A COMPANIES TPS REGISTERED BUSINESS LINE AND THEN SIMPLY HANG UP ON ANSWER - RUDE ON EVERY LEVEL - BLOCKED THE NUMBER
