Had several missed calls, no message ever left. I have since answered one of them, the lady had my name, number, street and started to try to sell me something? I stopped her and asked who she was again "Money club, part of the groupon group" was the answer. As I don t have a groupon account and have never shown any interest in one, I decided to ask her to end the call with no sale and take me off the calling list. She just hung up. Recorded femail voice says that there has been some illegal activity on my internet - and I will be cut of..... etc. so press 1 to speak to advisor. IGNORE. New twist. If you just wait (that is don't press anything) an Amarican male voice comes on 'Thank you for your response (which has been nothing just to waste their time) ... you are now being transferred....' at this point I hung-up. The numbers are spoofed (not UK town Northwich).

I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.
