Here is additional information. The man said he was speaking for the Energy Care Group. He obviously had some set words to use and could say nothing other than those words. I asked him whether he was speaking on behalf of Ofgem: he laughed.

0345 351 0192 called me twice at 08.50 and 09.00 hours. I answered the second call and got a recorded message (which gave my first name wrong, called me Michaela not Nicola!). Saying they were Lloyd’s Bank and inviting me to press any button to speak to someone about fraud on my account. I DO NOT HAVE A LLOYDS ACCOUNT! Very late last night I also received two text messages saying that it was Lloyd’s Bank who had noticed fraudulent activity on my account. I deleted both messages. I am certain that this is a

miss sold insurance!!!!

Vanquis bank parasites, yet another brainless prat, explained to them that they've rang the wrong number but they could remove my number until I give them the account holder details, DO NOT ANSWER FROM THIS NUMBER

I say telemarketer this was more like a Tele robot, just a answering machine not a person, saying it would be ringing me again soon. Don't bother answering. If they can't be bothered to have a person talk to you, then why bother to make the flaming call in the first place. At least give me the chance to mention the letters GDPR and remove me from your database. Mindless technology I can't even say get life for it has not got one. Sorry for the rant just fed up with these calls

Some female called Alee Gella from Microsoft UK office in Reading called this afternoon and advised me that there was a problem with my computer, which is quite amazing as there is no computer in the house they called! I asked for her contact number and she advised me that it was 888dca60fc0a11c. Having managed to stifle my laughing I asked her politely to remove the telephone number from the list and never call the number again as she was breaching DGPR and that I was aware that the call was a scam.
