Cold call not sure if this is a wrong number dialed scenario or a spoofed call

I didn't answered the phone. The call was located in Russia. I know nobody in Russia. I would be very cautious.

This Number was given to me by a Visa Card Scammer Claiming to be "Bank Fraud Department"

Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.

Looks like a classic "You owe tax" asked for my name and occupation and obviously I gave completely false info and yet they carried on like I just confirmed my identity.

SPAM, unsolicited call, after hiding my number and calling back seemed to get an automated response, not in English. quite possibly a scam.

Fraud SCAM Got a call from this number, 21/02/2024 at 16:41. Scam caller claiming to be carphone warehouse, which I have no account or dealings with. The people on the other end were talking together unaudibly for at least 30 seconds before some lady spoke through the phone claiming to be carphone warehouse, which she called ‘carphone company’. Hang up and block this number immediately.

SCAM Answer machine message telling me that my monthly credit limit was all used up and I need to make a payment. Of course , all they want is your bank details. DONT GIVE THEM.

As with the previous review, received a text supposed to be from Apple telling me my wallet features have been put on hold, due to an unusual transaction, and to visit the link in the text message. Needless to say I have not got an Apple wallet and did not click the link. I assume it's a scam.

SCAM Caller asking if I had debt problems, I don't! After watching Scam interceptors on BBC one at 10:00 A.M. I learned that this is where they call from. I told him that he was a scumbag scammer and to F*** O** hopefully, no more calls from these B******S Apologies for the language but, these people are just that!

SCAM The caller was a recorded message suggesting they were from a Londoon Magistrate and stated that if I choose to ignore this information then my National Insurance number will be blocked and stop working. After another threat they told me to press 1 to speak to the officer in charge of the case. At which point I hung.

Scam call. Pretending to be my banks fraud department. Had my name, address and were trying to get a code to purchase items from argos. Then preceded to harass me with multiple phone calls after I called them out for being fake.

I had a random call from this number. Abusive from the off, sounded mentally unwell

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

Very dangerous number ,they say they are calling from amazon and stating that an order of £749 ,then they ask what phone I am using and number.

SCAM Scammer's phone used to implement a rental scam via airbnb or tripadvisor. Be aware! Do not chat with this person, do not provide any personal information and do not make any payments to what seems to be a legitimate booking through airbnb, tripadvisor or any other service.

I have no recollection of this telephone call, but it appears on my bill as 7.52mins at a premium charge of £9.261

SCAM - calls to take card payments for advertising space that has never been taken do not pay them - offer 10% discount to pay today but there is no product? cannot send an invoice and when questioned he becomes rather angry and agitated said his name was James, very strong northern accent and we live down south on the coast so wouldn't be advertising near him anyway!
