Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. I got a missed call, phoned back and they told me it was HMRC about a tax query! Whenever do you phone HMRC and get through after 2 rings :D??!! Of course its a scam!

Company talking about government (i.e. taxpayer!) grants first called me ten months ago. Their website is www.esiscotland.co.uk/ Reported to TPS and ICO. Just had another call from this number today - ESI Scotland again. What are the TPS and ICO playing at? They should be hammering these lawbreakers. I will be asking qustions of the TPS and ICO.
This company is a con I ve made a report to action fraud about them and contacted my bank who traced the payment and said they emptied their account out. A reputable company which is a bit more expensive starting at £599 is scooters.co.uk only down side is you have to register the bike and tax it
