This is the negative balance team from Paypal (See https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Paying-an-outstanding-recurring-payment/td-p/1000315 as an example). This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. The account holder has 45 days to deal with the issue, before Paypal go to the funding source to ask for the money on a "Chargeback" basis. Legitimate caller if you have a paypal account

Definitely a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER RETURN A CALL to an unknown number and NEVER PRESS ANY NUMBERS if...

This number called me claiming they were from sky and my warranty had just ran out for my sky box and was asking me to pay them £80. Absolute con!!!!!!!

As soon as he started to speak l hung up he then continually called me each time l declined the call on my mobile ... He called so many times ..whilst at work I blocked the number .. Harassed continually by them ...don t answer the call in fact block the number if you can

This number has called and shows originator as Bamouth. I tried calling back, the line rings then I was automatically disconnected.

Got a call this morning from a lady. I could hardly understand a word she was saying. Thick accent and slow sounding voice. I repeatedly apologised for not being able to understand and asked her to repeat herself. She hung up.

SCAM - Male - Indian, asked for me by name, advised recent bank payment had been overpaid & I could get money refunded. He then gave my correct address & asked me to confirm this was correct. Told him this was excitinging news - I have someone with me at the moment, give me your number & I ll call you back. He hung up immediately. Do not ring your bank/credit card company immediately, it may reconnect you back to the caller who will then ask you to confirm your personal details - very dangerous. Instead

Getting anywhere between 4-8 calls a day, some 5 minutes after each other!

Called me several times with some random sales offers, asking for the removal from their list didn t work so i blocked them. Today I had a voice mail and someone was clearly unhappy with it as the only thing they said before hanging up very quickly was "oh s*it" I am satisfied that for once they got annoyed with me;)
