He told me the finance was approved ready to pay out I had to give account details I did but I had money in the account I ended up giving my credit card details when I recieved a message saying if I authorised a payment I replyed no whilst on the phone to this person I lost my plot....! Impersonating a police officer is actually a criminal offence. Reckons I was caught using my phone by static camera, told him where to go and suggested he uses local officers to knock on my door. Now blocked.
"Investing advice" (? seemed really shady to me), caller wanted me to go to a website (edufintech.org or something like that) and wouldn't tell me what was the point of his call. Had to hang up with the caller still talking (wouldn't take a polite "thanks, but no thanks and have a nice day." = typical aggressive telemarketing?).

Insulation. They claim it's a survey, but you know it's a scam. Silence on line for several seconds. (I do not say anything when answering unknown numbers just to see if it is a robot messenging call). When questioned about what company he was representing, the man purported to be an energy adviser from the Insulation Advice Line. I asked him if he could provide his company number. He replied 'No'. He was rude and talked over me. The threat of reporting him because of TPS violation did not phase him.
