Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.

called saying from my internet service provider. When i asked this man to confirm who my service provider was he called me a stupid idiot and hung up. There was only one idiot wasting his time and it wasn t me.

Call pretending to be HMRC threatening legal action unless one speaks to an agent by pressing the number one. I did not do that as I suspect that would then be charged at an exorbitant rate.

Answerphone gave them 1 minute of Phil Collins at which point they cut the call. No message left as they could only do this after 2 minutes of Phil Collins (God forbid!). Area ...
