SCAM,

Tried to scam me by calling my phone and asked for my email address. Then I was told to check my email for a password to allow her to add me to her address list because she allegedly lost her list. When I checked the email message it was a code authorizing to reset my Facebook password, so I did not give the information. This person was even messaging in our native dialect. She avoided talking to me live though when I answered her call the first time, and just sent the message asking for my email.

01367156170 rang at 9:39 automated Amazon Prime stating my account was due for renewal and that a sum of £39.99 would be deducted from my account. This is a spam call as I do not have an Amazon Prime account. They previously telephoned me this morning on 07322440871 at 8:32am so they are persistent, I have blocked the number now.

i was rung and told it was BT and that there had been some suspicious activity on our internet recently. I was asked to google Anydesk which I know is a method whereby a person can remotely access your laptop. No way. I put the phone down.

Came on to say that I had outstanding debts on credit cards etc and were paying off money. Told them it was a TPS line but didn’t take it in.

Robot said there is a TAX fraud case on my name. I guess I'll just ignore.

03330 302091 Received call 20.23 Wednesday 23/9/2020 to an EX Directory BT landline. Phone rang I picked it up & didn’t answer – they hung up. It appears that this number has been targeting Bournemouth, Manchester, London, Stirling and York. The No. hails from Northeast France and using Manchester as the UK hopping point.

SCAM called saying from O2 with a promotion

Cold call informing me that my Amazon Prime subscription was due, and to press 1 to talk to an agent

SCAM Said they were from the technical department at Virgin Media, wanting to increase our broadband speed. Tried to get us to allow remote access to our computer and went very quiet when I asked if they had our account number. Also called 5 minutes earlier from 01916824597.

Scam pretending to be HMRC

Scam recorded message saying that they are stopping use of my National insurance number as I have committed several frauds and criminal activity, press 1 to speak with an officer... and no doubt get fleeced lots of money for doing so. These arse holes do my head in, sod off and get a proper job like the rest of us!!

SCAM Claims to be from Amazon prime. It isn't

SCAM An person, speaking bad English trying to convince me that there is a problem with my Windows computer and claiming to be from Microsoft. I did not hold the line long enough to figure out what they want me to do, ended with identifying the Windows computer by the presence of Windows key on the keyboard :-)

Fraud. Called by this number pretending to be the HMRC in the UK advising me that my name had been used for a fraud case and that if I didn't follow the instructions a warrant would be put out for my arrest. Obviously fraud as HMRC don't operate like that.
