Ellie claimed to be from Amazon about an i-phone purchase. Traditional scam

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.

TOTAL SCAM FRAUD, telling me 2 transactions were made on my visa mastercard account (which I do not have) for £700 and £900 and to press 1 after the tone. I checked my actual bank accounts and are all OK.

DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll likely be called back later by a very clever con-artist! Call center Claimed to be from Curry's pc world asking what phone and contract I had. Asked him how he got my number as I don't give my number out to anyone apart from family and work and he immediately hung up. Be wary.

He is speaking Arabica language and English. Please specially Arabs take care of that persons in that company they named themselves: Qasy, Asem, Ahmed and Ibrahim. Better to people inform UK Police about them

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel

Claims to be McAfee for an automatic £179.98 subscription renewal but I've never used McAfee, so it's a scam.

Just had a call from this number on my house phone. Lots of noise in the background but no one answered and they put the phone down. Called the number back and number is not recognized, so obviously a scam.
