SCAM. I received a text purporting to be from DPD, saying they'd been unable to deliver an item, and that a fee was now payable to release it for delivery. The message contained a link for me to do this. Definitely a scam. I've blocked the number and reported it to my mobile phone provider.
I keep getting called about accidents that I haven't had.

The person told me they were from sky and it was regarding my internet connection . I told them I would not give out my passwords or be clicking on any links in my computer as too many scammers claiming to be from this company and said if I need to talk to sky I will phone them myself. Called early on morning of 20th December. Keep getting calls from Devon and Cornwall area over past 3 days. When you try to ring the number it goes to answering service or says messages are full so you cannot leave a message.

Said they were from Carphone Warehouse offering a brand new phone for only £35 per month. Stayed on the call with them and I told them my D.O.B (I gave a fake one) when they asked for my contact details. They then asked for my D.O.B again to which I gave a completely different date which did not phase the man on the other end of the line. So I strung him on for as long as I could before hanging up as I couldnt think of a fake address to give. Next time Ill have one ready! :) This number is a scammer.
