Number came with an email looking as if I had bought a TV on eBay which had a delivery address in a distant town. Checked eBay account and cannot find any evidence of purchases. Think it must be a scam. Person who answered the phone seemed very genuine!

Fraud - Amazon-type fraud, 'we have blocked a suspicious transaction'.

Caller with foreign access claiming to be from Sky. Said I had problems on my internet. I said there wasn't. Caller hung up. Even scammers can't be bothered doing a good job nowadays.

Automated call; supposedly from bank, but no name of bank mentioned. Two allegedly suspicious transactions mentioned. followed by a press-button menu. When I called my genuine bank it was confirmed there were no suspect transactions.

This phone number dialled me 10:03am and I phoned him back now and he said no I never called that number in a sluggish grumpy voice like that guy that says “computer says no”

Definite scam. I looked up Starpro - Aberdeen. They call off different numbers all based in Aberdeen and there's loads of people stating that they were scam artists trying to claim to be a phone company and asking for details.

Lady spoke to me regarding setting up a date for British Gas to install a new smart meter, I told her to get British gas to send me a message to my email address, she said "no problem thanks for your time " So far no email !! SCAM !!

SCAM call from someone suggesting he was from BT and seeking access to our broadband to correct a fault as they had been receiving lots of alerts and that our IP address was being used in the public domain. On calling back, i got an automated message saying that this number had not been recognised.

This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). I explained I did not trust cold callers, so they asked me for an email address. They sent me the email which looked genuine. But it had a different number to the one one the official website. blocked as not known do not call back as they will charge you premium rates for calling them

SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.
