It's a fraud scam. They've somehow got a list of people who have purchased white goods and they're calling them to tell them the warranty has expired. I told him to fuck off and put the phone down as they were clearly trying to get me to pay for a new insurance policy when I blatantly didn't. Its a company called Boomi , trying to sell me a cloud solution as they must have got my details from Linkedin. Genuine company , just telemarketing to I.T. people.
Recorded voice (Sounded like an angry Siri) stating from HMRC and was named in a serious fraud investigation and if I didn't press "1" on my keypad then I would be arrested immediately. It actually made me laugh out loud. Hang on, there's a knock at the door.......... :)
