Michael called, no idea what TP is and no explanation given, just that he has landlords for me. Which confuses me as surely a landlord would just contact me directly as an agent. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 12179005xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with financial services, trading on-line (also reported from different countries - international call centre). Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Update for my entry 19/04/17. Call from this number received after placing ad on Gumtree to sell a car. Caller spoke with South Asian accent, claiming to represent, MTA Solicitors regarding a Road Traffic Collision. I contacted MTA Solicitors directly. They do not make or condone cold calls whatsoever. Any cold call received where the caller purports to be from or acting on behalf of MTA Solicitors, should be treated as fraudulent.
