I have had two recent calls from this number - callers clearly from India/Pakistan, judging from accent - on a very noisy line. They claim to be from BT and, as others have said, say that there is a problem with my internet and that it will shortly be disconnected. My line is with BT but has no internet connection. When I point out that that not only is it ex-directory but also registered with TPS they ring off immediately.
He knew my name and address - couldn’t undersatnd what he was aking me though. Selling personal details makes me furious.
