Text message received claiming to be from NatWest with a payment attempted from a new device. Number does not tally with numbers listed on NatWest website. Checked with NatWest customer services and they said it is a scam.

The above number called. Wanting to speak to me, having identified it was pscd, shortly after confirming my name, I let her know their practice was not regarded as authentic. She refused to confirm unless I passed some security questions. I told her I would not and ended the call. She rang me. If they randomly cold call people, they should have initial confirmation and satisfy themselves they are ringing the individual they want. Just do one???? 0141 570 3350
