SPAM called and claimed to be from my mobile provider but were not. I put them on hold for 5 minutes til they hung up.
Claimed to be Natwest Bank and the National Crime Agency said ?500 had been taken from account were giving back ?5000 which we were to withdraw from the account and put into another account at Barclays Bank because that was nearer for us and we wouldn t have to travel as far! Absolute scammers, targeting vulnerable people.

Just had call from this no the caller knew my first name I have no idea where he got my name from or telephone number

SCAM / SPAM - Called me saying that I had been in an accident and that I had unclaimed compensation. Usual blah blah, called twice today on this number and three times on Monday from 0333 303 4836. Annoying and potentially dangerous for unsuspecting people as I assume they want to either harvest data or attempt to scam by taking bank details/ card details. Have now blocked.

SCAM The lady identified herself as Linda and spoke with an Indian accent, knew my postcode and said she was calling about my boiler cover, which is on a high tariff that can be lowered. I pointed out we have no cover, she tried the spiel asking how old it was. I told her it is only a few years old, paid for outright and under warranty. I told her I thought she was trying to scam me and we are TPS registered. She said sorry you would receive another call.
