Came across convincingly, but had my doubts at certain times, said he was based in Portsmouth from a Bournemouth area code! Yeah right, barge pole and do not touchspringto mind, started getting upset after I wasted a good half hour of his time!

Received a call from 0161 818 2004 earlier this afternoon from an chap with an Indian accent. He enquired about any motor accidents/claim that I may have had in the last 3 years. All he had was my phone number. I was immediately suspicious. He said he had a legal duty to obtain further details (name, address, date of accident, cars involved etc) and that I was legally obliged to supply it. He claimed to be acting on behalf of a bank of insurers, but failed to identify any insurers that I had policies with.

This number calls my mobile I know it's junk so don't answer , my landline immediately rings afterwards with a local area code on it, they say you've been report...

Got the same type of call - a recorded message Talking about a grand and Pensions and that I m under 60 - Wrong .... Press 5 or 9 - I chose to do neither. It has to be some kind of marketing call. Avoid. They ll probably be trying to get some part of your pension pot for themselves. I m on the TPS so shouldn t be getting this type of call.

They phoned me to say they were Microsoft Specials. Told me my PC had a fault - possibly Virus Infected - and first tried to access my PC via Teamviewer. This did not work so i was told to visit www.ammyy.com. Here they did gain access and I sat back to watch the mouse pointer open and close multiple files etc. Much file info was Transfered and after sometime they phoned again to ask if the PC now worked faster,,,,Answer was, "NO". it is the shaw trust who work with the department for work and pensions. if you have ever done job club then that is who they are.

I don t know anyone in Eastbourne, if i did they would have left a message. This was a scam call.
