SCAM - number called my mobile , let it go to voice mail, checked soon after and it was a badly worded "bot" trying to tell me something about HMRC..... Most defo a scam..... do not answer

Had a few missed calls off this number over a few days, then one morning at 5am, my phone woke me up by calling this number by itself on speaker. My phone is fingerprint/pin locked, and my applock app registered two failed attempts to access my phone's settings. Everyone in the house was asleep and I've yet to find an explanation. Phone completely scanned for malware and came up clean. Very perturbing.

Scamming bastards sending recorded maessages that my Credit Card is being used. I told them a fictious name yet they still continued to tell me that my Account was compromised and pressed for my Account details.

SCAM - I got a text saying I had missed a parcel delivery from the Post Office, funny as I am expecting a parcel today, but it is NOT the Post Office who is delivering it. The text message tried to send me to a website to rebook delivery, but my Apple phone warned me the website was dangerous to go to, so I did not load it.

Claimed to be from Lloyds fraud protection giving home location and claiming card was used at another location. Quickly realised it was a scam call and went to quickly hang up, the caller made a very strange noise beforehand lol.

Claims to be from O2 wanting to discuss my contract. I'm not on O2, but my number used to be on O2 many years ago, so I know it's a scam

They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.

They are saying they are from BT, however the following is true (as I worked for BT for 36 years). 1 - BT do not ring you on a mobile number (unless and engineer has an appointment at your house that you know about). 2 - The phone is registered to Vodaphone, BT do not use any other networks for their own use. 3 - He could not give me my BT account number. 4 - He said he was from Millenium City London, this mobile number is located in Manchester! Fourth time this week, calling from "O2". Last time they called, they were from Vodafone. Idiots. Told me I could save £££ on my contract. Fraud. they are impersonation other company details. please be aware. they called trying to sell a personal loan using Finance and Investment Solutions ltd name. I have been told by FCA that these individual cloned this company and no related with this company.

Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.
