Twice a man phoned in a couple of weeks to try and get me to renew insurance for a washing machine. My machine has no warranty or separate insurance. When I asked him what was the make of my washing machine, he hung up. Prior to that he aggressively insisted that my warranty had ended.

Have had several calls from this number and each time they will not give me details of who they really are - insisting it is a public service backed by the government on how to write off debt! They won t take me off their call list (number registered to German company) and I ve tried using BT caller refuse and call preference and still getting at least 4 calls per week from these maggots!
Energy company. They called me twice and asked me if I was interested in change my energy supplier. Big discount, cheaper, etc. Nuisance calls
