Just had a phone call from this number, i answered and they hung up straight away. i have had many missed calls from this number prior, My Guess they want money out of it or something.

Ask them to take them off their list. Then no more calls. It is legal to do this and they DO NOT call more than once a day. I know. I used to work there. All they do is totally within the law. Oh and being ex-directory means your phone number doesn t appear in the phone book. That s it.
