They have called saying that they are from HSBC! I have asked what is the purpose of the call! Refused to tell me and asked me to give them my date of birth in order to pass the security check! Refused and hung up ! Called HSBC they have confirmed that this number does not belong to them and asked to not pass them any details as this is a fraud call
Dunno who or what called me
At 8.20am I answered my land line thinking it must be important and was a local number. It was a automated message saying ‘thank you for your payment of £299 for anti virus, if any problems please call our free phone number’ The number I’m afraid I didn’t get and it didn’t say any company either. I’m sure this is a scam of some sort that they catch you when you call to complain so very much aimed at the trusting, naive or elderly.
