Said they were from SKY Technical support - tried to get me to log on to computer to type in “w3c validation” to carry out an assessment in my internet connection! Call was cut off and then got a callback immediately from a different number (02080145236) asking me to do the same! Beware these are scammers and not very convincing ones!

Claimed to be calling about a car accident where somebody hit my car sometime in the last 2-3 years . Couldn t give any details - needed me to confirm from my end to comply with data protection. Haven t had an accident, so he got told in no uncertain terms where to insert his phone call.

Missed call. Left no message but one of numerous calls received during lockdown at around the same time of day. Presumably hoping that because of my age I might be vulnerable to their schemes or scams. Very annoying.
