This (spoofed?) number was the apparent originator of a smishing scam claiming that my PayPal account had been restricted and giving a reasonably plausible looking hyperlink to follow. Only close examination revealed that the link was false (although it was cleverly constructed as an https address, it used dashes rather than slashes to disguise the actual domain name).

claim is from BT about mobile contract with vodafone(?) which is unusual, told him we don t use vodafone he said is for renewal, telemarket cold caller!
