First couple of these I ve had in years since I went all ex-directory, so some git has sold me number as part of a database recently, that much can be guessed. Quick call to O2 and have the number changed works too if you can be bothered to tell your mates your number has changed. In fact that works twofold, it help weed out the crap from your address book....

They rang, said nothing but slammed phone down when I answered, called back, a recorded message said "You have justreceived a call from Unitech Services. No need to worry about this, we will call you back." I guess they re checking for valid numbers to pester.
SCAM / SPAM. Recorded message stating it was from HMRC and unless i press 1, an immediate arrest warrant will be issued due to non payment of TAX. I have checked and HMRC will never call in this manner.
