Said he was calling from HRMC regarding tax avoidance and gave me a number to ring. Not 100% sure if it was a message or a person.I got no response when I asked for correspondence in writing. He said his name was James Anderson. Complete scam! Do not ring the number he quotes, goodness knows how much money would have been taken. Please Avoid.
I just want to find out who called me

phone me at 0800 in the morning and late as 2100 at night, don't sound English I could here them laughing but did not leave me a message.
Very pushy but convincing girl at the end of the phone - said they were calling because I had entered a competition to win a trip to New York and so was eligible for ten free lines on Euro Millions. Sounded vaguely legitimate until she started asking me for personal details - date of birth, etc... "to confirm I was over 18". Told her I wasn t prepared to give any personal information over the phone to a call centre and she hung up. More convincing than the usual scammers - but still dodgy as. Block this num
