These people are from a company called Ultimate Contact Solutions. The only reason they are calling you is to get you to call back (money making) and to confirm a contact number is active so they can sell it on. If you are unlucky enough to answer and stupid enough to ring back they then pump you for your details, and if able to other family members details so they can sell your details at a higher price and get an extra sale from your family s details. Fraud scam. Scam insurance crash call. The call operator was obviously very new at this. Fumbled and stumbled his way through the script in barely understandable “Hind-lish”. I stopped him and told him he was really terrible at this game, should stop now, he’s not cut out to be another sh*tty scammer. Told him his parents would be ashamed of him. He apologised and cut the call.

have been getting these calls regularly, once daily for several weeks. I usually ignore the call when my caller display shows this number. Last week I rang 1471 for the hell of it and got a recorded message -your wine club tried to contact you. I am actually a Laithwaites member and use them when I want to order wine. I rang Aberdeen Porsche Centre about a second hand car they had for sale, unknown and without my consent, they have passed my details on to an "Independent Review Provider" who rang me today from this number saying they were "calling from Aberdeen Porsche Centre" for some feedback regarding my enquiry with them. I have been called 3 times by this number today. It is highly irritating as I drive a lot. No one there when I answered the third time of them calling. I called back to a recorded message with an American accent saying This number is out of service . My guess is that they are testing to see if the number is in use and you will get a load of marketing text messages once this number is answered or called back which I recommend you do neither.

01733348297 a very foreign gentleman phoned me at 8.25 this morning saying he was from BT Technology. That was after I asked him to repeat it as his English was not very good. I put the phone down.
They rang me at 19.06 p.m.When I picked up they were said hello a few times as if they couldn t hear me. I was expecting a call from an unknown number but did not fall for the ring back ploy and came on here. From comments it looks shady so I will block it for future reference.
