"Asked for my husband, I said it was my mobile number and she asked for his, I said if you knew him or needed him then you would already have that number. She proceeded to tell me that she had been instructed by a solicitor to book my husband in for a hearing assessment for his previous employment. A complete lie and when I explained that to her, she had the nerve to tell me that I was rude! Yuck. Cold Call. Scammers. Trying to force you into believing that you need a paid for hearing test. AVOID. BLOCK."

The data warehouse/broker thing was kindly explained by one of these callers a couple of weeks back. It's a never-ending cycle - in order to pay the phone bills of an initial cold call, data is sold on to the next cold-calling company. Who knows what other information we might have given over the phone gets sold on? O"
