I received a call from this number this morning asking me to confirm details of my router, telling me that someone else had been using it and trying to hack into it. I told her that there was not a problem. She kept telling me that I needed to give her details of passwords etc so I hung up after telling her several times that I wasn't interested and knew that it was a scam call.

Said they were TalkTalk - and oh dear ! I had a problem with my pc and 'would it be OK if they searched it for my bank details passwords and any other useful information'. I said go ahead and have all of my business contacts as well ! They told me I would have to boot up my pc, so I said that would present a problem, as my pc is upstairs and I was on a land line downstairs ... unlike real TalkTalk customer services they then started getting angry; for the life of me, I don't know why !!

SCAM Today at 1.15 - Christine from ESE re solar panels. Googled and rang back on number on their website. 08000472985 and got same Christine. As on TPS they shouldn't have called. Just made a complaint on the ICO website. Do the same if you get a call from them as if enough then the company can get fined.
