I accidentally cut the call off but when I tried to call back to see who was calling me I got the "number not recognised, please check the number & call again" me...
Got a call from this number earlier. 01229 473762. The "01229" IS our national UK code and the "47" is particular to our local area but we think it was a scam attempt. Foreign accent named "John" saying he was from BT which we don't use! Can these shysters actually manage to appear to be local when probably ringing (on a phishing trip) from abroad?
Received a call from this number, when i answered i noticed it was a recorded message. It said they were from National Insurance Administration (doesnt exist) claiming that my national insurance number had been comprimised and that i need to talk to a legal investigator to avoid any legal action against my name and my national insurance number lol.
This number called me a couple of days ago but when i called back it sounded like a fax machine.
