An obvious scam call. A “gentleman” called John ( lie number 1) phoned me from Reading (lie number 2) to tell me he was a Microsoft engineer (lie number 3) concerned about my computer being hacked (lie number 4). When I told him I didn’t have a computer he called me a liar & became very agitated. All very amusing.
Spoof number used by criminals. They speak English but according to their accent they are from former Soviet-union.

various insurance scams. Avoid!!! They will also call you back with your local dialling code if you don t answer. They must do it through the web and have lots of info on you. Complain to ombudsman these shites need shutting down
SCAM / SPAM Had a call from 01216487023 on May 18th 2020 Caller claimed to be from a visa company saying there had been 2 suspicious purchases totalling £1800. They didn't know my name , address or postcode. I told them i'd check my banking app as it shows transactions immediately. The caller said they won't show up , which is why they were calling. I said i'd check anyway. They hung up. Always check first
called 7/7 at 13:43 no message left.

Automated call
SPAM Phoned my mobile, didnt answer as I didn't recognise the number. Phoned back using 141 to withhold my number, got the "number not recognised" message.
unknown source, call jammed my answering machine with an empty message till I power cycled it
