Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. Hope this helps.
Claims to be in reference to an accident that I had within the last three years. I told him that I hadn't had one and he asked if perhaps I'd had one as a passenger. When I told him again that I hadn't had any accidents and that I thought it was a scam call, he hung up.

I'm not too certain about the caller, as he started off by saying both my Company name & personal name, & he'd obviously "done his homework" as when I asked him who was calling, he said the name of my provider. Unfortunately he spoke at the speed of sound, so when I asked, he said he'd speak slower, but then the line disconnected, so I didn't get to find out whether the caller was genuine or not. They asked to confirm details of address, post code and gave names of people residing. I declined call to continue to protect our personal information being verified for whatever purposes as they did not give any information on the company or organisation they were working for.
Looks like a financial scammer. Said I had two payments about to be made from my bank account, one for Amazon for £250 and one an international money transaction for £900. Checked with my bank - no transactions due.
