Fraud/Scam Says my NI number has been frozen due to fraudulent activity. Wants you to press 1 to connect to someone. HANG UP, DP NOT PRESS ANYTHING
Asian voice asked to speak to my wife, mispronounced her name. I told him no you can't speak to her, hung up and blocked call.
They are an Indian call centre who use spoof caller ID numbers. Do not trust them! Block them with a call blocker (you may need to block VOIP calls)or answer the call something like this: "This is the FBI - we have you surrounded! Come out with your hands up! All units - GO! GO! GO!" That should make them hang up!
They have been calling me for months asking for someone else and I keep telling them it is my phone and it is a business phone so stop calling, but to no avail. hopefully blocking the caller will work
Rang friday 29 Mar 2019 about 12:00 wasnt near phone to answer. Went unanswered.
Continuous calls from 0141 852 8888 stating that they are "Windows Technical Services and there is a problem with your computer" (I know they are not Windows)
Something needs to be done 7.45 pm another silent call from this number - 5 today it is harassment and needs to be stopped
When answered, complete silence for a few seconds before they hung up.
