Called my 86 yo mum claiming to be "the company that services your domestic appliances and boiler", I interrupted the call, asked if they were British Gas, on being told no the caller was invited to go forth and multiply.
Man with Indian accent said his name was Michael. Claimed to be from BT Open Reach. (I didn’t think they were contactable) Local Shaftesbury number. He then asked me how I am today. It didn’t seem very professional. I felt uneasy about this so I rang off.

This number is a brand new HMRC scam. Be careful. Managed to hold up their phone lines for a few hours today, but they will 100% be making more calls over the coming days and months. Don't be fooled by them.
Received a call from this number, answered and received an automated message saying my Amazon account had 2 large orders using my card and they didn’t think it was me. It said press 1 for yes it was me and 2 for it wasn’t. I hung up an obvious scam call as how can they know who in the household picks up the call as there might be 5 of us with cards and Amazon accounts!

Fraud A banking scam - purporting to be TSB and checking fraudulent transactions. Almost convinced us to give standing orders and direct debit details, and had confirmed a couple of transaction. Foreign speaking lady asked to speak to my father by name, informed her he died 16yrs ago. She continued talking about shares he had etc. I asked her to send me details and how she got my phone No. She said it wasn’t possibly because she has hundred of people on her books. Didn’t catch how she got my number, but she also knew my address. Think it is a scam. How low can they stoop.

I was left a message that my apple account had a suspicious login and is now discontinued. It said to click on the link to resolve the issue, which I didn’t. Instead I went to my account and got in fine- not discontinued.
SCAM called me in Australia to say I have bitcoin waiting in an unused account.
