Call to my rarely used mobile about my recent accident - I answered that I did not have any recent accident. Caller did give a company name but too fast to recall it. Obviously prospecting for accident claims insurers and completely bogus.

No answer when I picked up. Part of a series of different suspicious mobile numbers to have called me since yesterday. Only one of them responded when I picked up a (an automated message supposedly from my unnamed Internet provider).

nit’s a cloned spoof number ( probably a Skype number ) and not the bt number it’s pretending to be

Called the number back, seems to be a cold call centre related to "bank compensation claims" advised my number is unlisted and requested to be removed from their list

NEVER be tempted call unknown numbers back as you may be caught for a very large call charge.

It s PetPlan, who are clearly the most unreliable and untrustworthy company to do business with. Aggressive telemarketing, with three to four calls a day. The only sensible thing to do is to block them from coming through.

Marc called, wanted to know who is in charge of the energy bills, said he was from a company about comparing energy prices. Told him we ve done it all already through U-switch and asked him to remove our number from the database. It remains to be seen if we called by them again.

Nuisance silence phone call all the time when i pick/answer the phone up they put the receive down at the other end.

I made payment to these people too, for advertising in an upcoming event brochure of almost ?230, (I stupidly paid twice, as they rang back the next day and said the payment hadn t gone through, I did actually check with my bank, and there was nothing showing as having gone through the day before, but it did appear within a few days]. I believe that this is scam call from allegedly HMRC as when you try to call it goes through to a foreign person who starts asking for a lot of information.
