It is a scam. They call you as people from HMRC and ask for payment details. BEWARE
This appears to be an energy advice company. I didn't answer, but called back and got a very rough answerphone message. Unsure what they want or whether it is a phishing call.
Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.

Calls using various Manchester-area phone numbers usually starting 0161 531 ****. WARNING IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM PRETENDING TO BE A GOVERNMENT SCHEME! If you don't recognize the number DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! and then if the line goes dead, congratulations, you've just escaped being scammed!

Safe number - This was WarmZilla customer care after I purchased a boiler with them. It was asking for photos ready for my install and if I had any questions.
No idea but this number has been calling every day for a week.No message left so I suggest ignore it
I was called about funding plans and the gentlemen was very polite and we had a lovely chat about potential options. I didn't need the services at the time. However, I have since called the number back and enjoy conversations regularly.
I too have solar panels and I have had eight calls in the last week from a Chelmsford number. Its as good as a scam, pretending to have discount vouchers for work on your house to be more eco friendly. Very persistent and don't take no for an answer.

Everyone should beware that there are many fake bitcoin mining/clouding out there, I have once been a victim of cryptocurrency scam. The whole plan was so smooth I could not doubt it. Jason Phillips called me from this number and then sent 2 email copy letters with Financial Ombudsman Service at top right of the letters, stating a big refund for my solar PV. He asked for covering payment upfront saying it is needed to cover costs of UK Law Associates before a refund could be arranged. I had no positive proof of who he was/is and declined the payment. I am perusing this through the ombudsman who is handling the case of mis-sold pv for me.
Most likely spam. I live in Ireland and no one from London should be ringing me because I have no business in London whatsoever. No family no bank account nothing. Rang back and gave a tone and immediately call ended.

SCAM Guy from tinder without verified photos. Pushed to move on to WhatsApp, then pushed to call, then pushed to Skype. Pushed to know my pictures were recent. Wouldn’t use any other kind of communication. Gave him my socials contacts and he called me controlling and a prick for not opening up a Skype account. Didn’t like it if I didn’t message back within 60 seconds! Not sure what was going on but felt very dodgy. I have blocked it. WhatsApp was also a business account.

Flagged as scam on Samsung so did not pick up. Have a business phone so would not expect personal life insurance call. Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.
