Missed call off a company called lrc when I asked what they did because I had a missed call and I am supposed to be ex directory they hung up

I received several calls from this number, the phone rang twice and then nothing. They called again yesterday and I found out it was a call center. There was an indian guy speaking. He told me something about a survey, he was calling on behalf of Sky TV. It was very annoying because he wanted to know my personal information. I hang up.

when answered the hung up, why they do that is if it sounds like an elderly person, (lady), the phising starts

Persistent calls asking for someone not known to me. I have had the same landline number for over 40 years.They just ignore my requests to remove my number. Have now blocked them.
