SMS text message purporting to come from BT, saying sorry I was leaving them and quoting a leaving charge. Invited me to call this number to discuss. Rang BT who confirmed it was nothing to do with them, and similar to other text scams they've had reported.

Fraud. They call and say that they are from Microsoft. They ask for access to your computer supposedly to chek it for virus or for an upgade. They just want to steal your personal codes and to access you bank accounts.

They asked me if I had received an email regarding a windows update. I said no so they asked me to check again. I cancelled the call and blocked the number. Immediately received a call from an unknown number which I didn't accept.
This is an insurance review which suggests too me it's a cold call. No message and will call back. When you ring back you get a recorded message.

SCAM - Claims to be a local energy advisor operating from Reading. When challenged that they were calling from a local Hemel Hempstead number & not Reading, they hung up. Not to be trusted.

As I received 5 different calls this morning all from seemingly fictitious numbers I will assume this one is also a spam caller. Thank heavens for BT Call Guard which records the number calling but does not let the caller disturb you.
