Caller said he was from Home Appliance Care. He addressed me by a false name I had given to a "lifestyle survey company" some time ago. He told me his records show that as my washing machine warranty was about to expire he would renew it. When I asked him where he got my details from he terminated the call. The number was not recognised when I dialled it. How can you trust a company which spoofs its telephone number.
saying they are BT, and they suspending my services due to using my services incorrectly. I am not even with BT, be careful guys
Called my Mum, who has dementia and claimed to be from her Housing Association. Asked her personal questions, which she answered (because they told her they were from her housing association). I am VERY ANGRY ABOUT THIS!!!
