Rang in and connected from another line, English was not there first language and tried to tell me that this market research would really benefit me, when I said it would not, they got flustered and then I asked them to not call again (they will).

Government HMRC claiming and left voice mailing stating they are taking me to the County Court and I should call them. I called them and very noisy and not English speaking voice. Wanted my name, address and DoB. I put the phone down and they have called twice since. As I do not owe HMRC any monies, assume this is a scam. Can they not be stopped?
Horrified that these people called me, saying I'd been sent a reminder 10th March (not received) re my washing machine insurance renewal. Had a call from this number at 8.30am this morning. I never state my name and immediately ask who is calling, on who's behalf and where they got my details. The lady passed me on to her male colleague. Who said they got my details from the car traffic accident department. I question why they would send them any information. I also stated I have not given any permission to anyone to use my personal data or pass it on.
