I had a missed call yesterday. No message left. Blocked.
Chris rang initially and said he was calling from London, working for some sort of green energy and had got our number from a government data base. DO these people really think the govt doesn't know about GDPR? When I said that he'd phoned a few weeks ago for another company and at that time he'd said his boss was going to ring back- the line went dead... so rude! I'm good at dealing with these people- someone less so could be taken in.

I work in security, this is a witness care number, either you have given evidence to a crime or somebody has put you down as a witness to a crime. The caller should be able to give you all the details of the case before you answer any questions. Most of the time they are just calling to give you an update of a plea. You cannot call the number back, but you can call 101 and give your name and they should be able to link it to the necessary CAD number.

Had a call from this number asking about an accident I had. When I said it was 5 years ago they hung up. Did not identify themselves but knew my name. Wouldn t trust them
