Asked for bank details claiming to be from a company I work for. I know this number is not related to the company and they are horrified this has happened.

Automated message telling me my internet provider was about to terminate my service within 24 to 48 hrs, due to "illegal activity! Instructed to press 1 to speak to a "technical executive".
Supposedly the crime agency warning me of criminal activity that will suspend my national insurance number and get me arrested. Utter nonsense and obviously a scam.
SCAM - Simon attempted to deliver today etc purporting to be Post Office-GB received as text and suggesting the number should be contacted. Beware, you're data is at risk.

Called & said he is from BT Openreach about my internet, which we do not use, first tried to confirm who I am- when I told him we do not have internet in this house he immediately put the phone down on me!!! calls every day at least once usually between 10.30 and 12.00. Never answered as I only answer callers I recognise. Looked it up and lots of people get the same no. calling. I have no contacts in Northern Ireland so assume it's a scam or telemarketing so will never answer it.

Birkhill underwriters called asking for my dad, asking if he had been in an accident. Wouldn t tell me where he got my details but told me he would remove them from their database. I don t normally answer numbers I don t know but did this one as the dialling code is from my town and could have been my work. Number now blocked.

Fraud, automated call and then says my National Insurance Number has been compromised. After that you press a number choice and get put through to someone who claims you have just been passed through so can they take your details. I asked her where she got my number from and she said that she hasn't called me but I called her, then got defensive and hung up. Do not get scammed by these idiots!
