This number keeps trying to call me but I haven t answered. As it is a very similar number to other "accident claim" spam ones I suspect it s the same thing.
Type of call: Attempted Fraud! Lady called Carol with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from Microsoft and trying to gain remote access to my PC. Definitely not Microsoft, definitely not calling from the UK, and definitely a scam.

Another call from this 08437240176 scammer trying to flog cavity wall insulation. Remember, anyone who cold calls you, (especially when you are registered with the TPS), is highly likely to be at best disreputable or at worst an out and out fraudster. They call over and over, when I finally picked up and requested that they stopped calling, the person at the other end of the phone was extremely rude.
This number is British Gas - probably payment collections department. When you call it back, it goes to a main menu with a series of options to hear balance / pay bill.
